Hale, Marylebone and Kensington
Female genital PRP is in growing demand across our practice. Hale and Marylebone patients tend to favour PRP after a thorough consultation about peri-menopausal changes; Kensington and Mayfair patients often combine PRP with HIFU as part of a longer-term treatment plan.

How PRP works
We draw a small amount of your blood, centrifuge it to separate the platelet-rich plasma layer, and reintroduce that plasma to the targeted area. Platelets release growth factors that stimulate local tissue repair, vascularisation and regeneration. Because the source is your own blood, there is no risk of allergic reaction or rejection.
Treatment session
After consultation and consent, we draw approximately fifteen millilitres of blood and process it on-site. The plasma is then reintroduced via fine injection along defined treatment points. Local anaesthetic is used for comfort. The full appointment takes around forty-five minutes including draw, processing and treatment.
Combining with HIFU
Many patients combine PRP with HIFU vaginal rejuvenation across a treatment plan rather than a single visit. The two work via complementary mechanisms — HIFU stimulating structural collagen, PRP supporting tissue health and vascularisation. Your doctor will sequence sessions appropriately if a combined plan is right for you.
Common questions about Female Genital PRP
Q.Is the blood draw uncomfortable?
A.Phlebotomy is performed by our trained team and uses standard medical equipment. Most patients find it comparable to any other blood test. We can take additional time if you have a needle aversion or have previously had difficulty with blood draws.
Q.Are results immediate?
A.PRP results develop progressively over four to six weeks as growth factors stimulate tissue regeneration. Some patients notice subtle improvement earlier; others notice change more clearly after the second session. We document progress at follow-up appointments.
Q.How does PRP compare with HIFU vaginal rejuvenation?
A.They address different aspects of intimate health. HIFU primarily addresses laxity through collagen stimulation; PRP supports tissue health, sensitivity and vascularisation. Some patients have one, some have the other, and some have a sequenced combined plan. The right answer depends on your concerns.
Q.Is the consultation private?
A.Entirely. Consultations take place in private clinic rooms with our female doctor available on request. Records are held securely and never shared without explicit consent. We see many patients who are relieved to find a clinical environment in which they can speak openly about intimate health.
